hydration juice

Keeping myself hydrated in the winter can be challenging! I am not outside sweating in the heat, so I forget to drink my 8 glasses of water a day.

That is where my favorite green juice comes to the rescue! Made with 4 celery sticks, 2 kale leaves, 1 cucumber, 1 lemon and 1 apple. Not only do the ingredients hydrate me, they come loaded with vitamin K and C, boosting my immune system.

Celery and cucumber have a high percent of water and electrolytes, helping to prevent dehydration and lower high blood pressure. Both are high in vitamin K which boosts immunity and digestive health 

Kale is high in fiber, sulfur and vitamin C. Fiber and sulfur help detox the body, while vitamin C keeps your immunity on track.

Lemons are a rich source of calcium, potassium and vitamin C. Lemons also aid in digestion and work as a blood purifier.

Apples are high in magnesium which help lessen headaches associated with dehydration.
